Why the Rhinestone Experience Will Make a Difference!

It is amazing how many young women are interested in breaking into the pageantry or modeling business. The major question for most of them is how to begin. That is why Casey McClain, owner of Rhinestone Productions has created a great program that includes both personal coaching and The Pageant Beauty Competition and Expo to give girls the opportunity for networking and education like nothing they have ever experienced.
Casey McClain has knowledge from being involved with many aspects of the entertainment industry. For the past ten years she has been involved in pageants, national commercials, music videos, and international modeling. From being a finalist at the Miss Teen USA 2001 competition to working with the top agencies such as Ford models, Casey has definitely become an industry expert and is now using her knowledge to provide a great service for young women. In addition to starting Rhinestone Productions, she has also been assistant choreographer at the national Miss USA/ Miss Teen USA competitions. “As I watch these young ladies come to a national competition, I am amazed on how many of them do not have the preparation that they need. Rhinestone Productions is a business specifically designed to provide these girls with a red carpet opportunity to learn the necessary tools and techniques it takes to wear the crown…Rhinestone Productions is about  creating opportunities and crowning moments”- Casey McClain.

For more information and to schedule an interview with Casey about Rhinestone Productions and the Pageant Beauty Competition and Expo 2008/ Red carpet charity fashion show ( September 12-14th in San Diego, CA)  please contact (760)749-7009.

Miss USA Registration & Fittings - Wednesday 3/26

Let me start off and apologize as there aren’t any pictures again today.  We were all too too busy to take any!

All I can say is WOW!!!  These ladies have all come prepared!  It was fabulous to have the opportunity to meet all 51 of our wonderful Miss USA state delegates.  They got fitted for all of their wardrobe - their Nina shoes, Syrup Swimwear (both competition suit & their “fun” suit), and their Sherri Hill opening number dresses.  Oh and I certainly can’t forget their YMI jeans & t-shirts!  It was great to see Sherri Hill again, as she was on hand for alterations.  The ladies were kept busy from the moment that they got there with photos being taken in each of their outfits and professional hair & makeup after they were fitted for everything.  I’m helping out for one more day, so be sure to check back tomorrow!!

Las Vegas Local to Walk 60 Miles DURING Three Days in San Diego Breast Cancer 3-Day

Nevada Walker Encourages Others in Pageantry to Join the Breast Cancer Movement

[Las Vegas, NV – February 28, 2008] Fogg-Ababon of Las Vegas, NV, will join thousands of other dedicated women and men at the San Diego Breast Cancer 3-Day benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust. After months of training and fundraising, participants will walk 60 miles during three days to raise awareness and funds for critical research and community outreach programs.

“I am looking for others within the pageant industry to join Pageantry United in the fight against breast cancer.  I want to show that women in pageantry are not what people think.  They are women of substance who truly care about their communities and the world around them.  People involved in pageants are often subjected to stereotypes, and we’re here to show that the stereotypes are wrong while uniting for a wonderful cause that has touched everyone in some way.”

“As Breast Cancer 3-Day participants, we have an opportunity to celebrate breast cancer survivorship, honor those who lost their lives to the disease, and ultimately, have an enormous impact on awareness and funding for breast cancer research and community outreach programs,” said Fogg-Ababon. “The Breast Cancer 3-Day is challenging and fun and the memory of our personal accomplishments will last a lifetime.”

The San Diego Breast Cancer 3-Day will start on Friday morning, November 21 and end with the Closing Ceremony on Sunday afternoon, November 23. The walkers will cover about 20 miles a day, traveling at their own pace. The walkers will be supported by hundreds of volunteer crew members who will provide meals, liquid and snack stops, gear transport, hot showers, portable restrooms, safety on the streets and 24-hour medical services.   The actual journey starts months in advance when walkers start training and raising the $2,200 required fundraising minimum. To help prepare for the Breast Cancer 3-Day, each walker is supported by coaches and online assistance that aid in all aspects of training and fundraising, while clinics, meetings, and training walks provide ongoing support. To help Fogg-Ababon reach her goal, make a donation directly to her online donation page or join her team at http://www.PageantryUnited.com. To learn how to participate or volunteer with the Breast Cancer 3-Day, visit www.The3Day.org or call 800.996.3DAY.

About the Breast Cancer 3-Day

Taking place in 14 cities nationwide, the Breast Cancer 3-Day is a three-day, 60-mile walk that provides an opportunity to educate tens of thousands of people about breast health, including the importance of early detection. Breast Cancer 3-Day participants commit to raising a minimum of $2,200 and walking an average of 20 miles a day during each three-day event. Proceeds from the Breast Cancer 3-Day are used for breast cancer research, education, and community outreach programs. As the primary beneficiary of the Breast Cancer 3-Day, Susan G. Komen for the Cure receives 85 percent of net proceeds and the remaining 15 percent goes to the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. Please visit www.The3Day.org, or call 800.996.3DAY for more information.

    What a week

Wow!  What a week it has been!  I know that I got a bit behind in my updates LOL but since I’m local, I still had to go home at the end of the night!  I took my son to the Red Carpet event for the Rambo Premiere and he was SO excited!  He was so close to Sylvester Stallone that he could’ve reached out and touched him!  Wow!  Not too many 7 year olds can say that they’ve had that opportunity.  I also attended the VIP Breakfast with the former Miss Americas at Planet Hollywood on Friday morning with my good friends Jennifer Woods of Pageant Talk International and Patsy of Patsy’s Magazine.  During the breakfast, there was a bit of excitement when we learned that the hotel that Patsy was staying at was on fire!  Yes, the Monte Carlo was on fire, but it is expected to reopen on Monday from what I’ve heard.  After the breakfast, while waiting to get autographs from all of the formers, I had the great pleasure of meeting several wonderful women and titleholders.

Friday night I had the great pleasure of meeting Rachel Smith, Miss USA at the True Beauty Workshop Fashion Show.  The Fashion Show took place at a gorgeous estate here in Vegas and we were all transportanted in the world’s largest limo!  Maureen, the Miss Nevada USA director, put together an amazing fashion show and workshop for all that attended.  That evening I also had the pleasure of meeting Sherri Hill and Jayme Shaw.

Saturday was a very early morning, as I was attending the True Beauty Workshop then rushed home to get ready for the Miss America Live show!  After the show of course there were a lot of photos taken.

I am still amazed at the number of wonderful, beautiful women that I had the opportunity to meet this week and hope that they will all stay in touch!  So, be sure to visit the photo gallery to see photos from everything!  http://www.mypageantdirectory.com/gallery

Fashion Show @ Fashion Show Mall

On my way to work, I stopped off at the Fashion Show Mall to catch the fashion show.  It was funny as people were stopping before the show started because they wanted to know what the crowd was for.  Many were standing there waiting and didn’t know what it was they were waiting for!  I had to leave as the girls started signing autographs, but I hope you enjoy the photos that I did get.   I apologize for the darkness of some and the blurriness of others.

If you are here in Vegas, be sure to find me and say Hi!  I’ll add your photo to our gallery :-) http://www.mypageantdirectory.com/gallery

Please be sure to visit the rest of the site to see where else I will be!  http://www.mypageantplace.com

Ok, so after sitting in traffic for a ridiculous 2 hours I managed to get to the Venetian in time for a couple of the gondolas.  I think I’ve learned though that I need a new camera LOL  I apologize for the darkness of some and the blurriness of others.  I hope you enjoy!  If you are here in Vegas, be sure to find me and say Hi!  I’ll add your photo to our gallery :-) http://www.mypageantdirectory.com/gallery  Please be sure to visit the rest of the site to see where else I will be!  http://www.mypageantplace.com

    Miss America Arrival Ceremony

Today was the official start of Miss America in Las Vegas!  There was a welcome ceremony complete with red carpet in front of the Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort this afternoon.  It was a chilly afternoon, but as many of the girls introduced themselves, they let us know just how cold it was when they left their home states this morning.  To view pictures please visit our photo gallery at:  http://www.mypageantdirectory.com/gallery  Some of them didn’t come out so well, but there were SO many people there that it was hard to get a good view!  Enjoy and be sure to check back as the week progresses!
